First and foremost, all glory and praise be to my LORD and the savior of my soul, Yeshua Hamashiach. The Lion of Judah, the Great Redeemer. My name is Christian Torres aka The Real NoBody, because I am nobody without God. Some of us are awakened by God with a kind word, some with an act of deep love, some with a tremble, some with a profound loss or a failure…for me it was with a violent shaking of my life. God had shown me when I finally woke up from being knocked out on the pavement, that it was my doing as much as it was theirs. Do you blame a wild animal for being a wild animal? Or do you blame the one who provokes it or keeps company with it unguarded? I was the latter. I was a people pleaser and a “rescuer,” a light amidst darkness who was missing the fuel to his lamp. Turns out, I was in need of rescuing myself. The voice I heard when I arose from the ground spoke clearly and said, “you either turn to me now, or you won’t get another chance to.” I received that message with a level of seriousness that I’d expect a president to receive a nuclear threat with. Before that night, I had been Jonah since I was a young boy. Knowing He was there, knowing I was being called and running the other direction every time. Until He hit me. See only God knows what it will take to wake someone from their slumber. In my case it was an attack, a betrayal, and the realization that I had strayed too far from Him and what He had called me to do and be for Him. Fast forward to a phone call from my mother Lorraine the day after this had occurred, asking me if I wanted to attend church with her on Sunday. Without flinching or thinking twice a yes came forth from my lips and it was on that day of attending church with her that I answered the altar call, emptied my pockets and my heart, and asked Him to take hold of my life for me. The following Sunday I was baptized. I did a podcast interview recently that I’ll link you all to explaining what that was like…but I can surely say I felt the very moment that the Holy Spirit descended upon me like a dove and filled me with a warmth and conviction I’d never felt before. What transpired after I came out of the water is nothing short of an awe inspiring miracle. God is who He says He is. That’s the “light” version of my testimony, I will give you accounts of every miracle He’s ever performed on me, for me, through me, around me and with me as well as how many times He saved me from death when the time comes. Without further ado, welcome to the site! I’m not your average Christian as I speak to on the song “Son of Light,” ministry is as important, if not more important than the music to me. The stage is an altar and those in the crowd are either sons and daughters of the Most High, or sheep in need of the Shepherd. So I marry all the gifts my Father and His Holy Spirit have given unto me to do the work He has called me to do. Which include delivering prophetic messages and truths from His wisdom, discipling my brothers and sisters for faithful and FRUITFUL walks with Christ, ministering and delivering the Gospel to those without God, and convicting souls to walk righteously and transformed by Christ.
